This is such a fun book. I've read this and the others in the series and they are all great. Yes, they are for young children but the stories, as with Harry Potter, are so good you just enjoy them. Here is a princess who just doesn't want to do the 'usual' princess stuff, much too boring. This book has a very good sense of humor with a twist on the usual fairy tales, and anyone would enjoy it. So read it and then give it to your kids and enjoy it together. I'm giving this to a friend to read and I think she will enjoy it as much a I have. After that, who knows.
