Hello Everyone,

I am Wendy and I am 13 years old. I live in Australia and I would love to make friends with people who have the same interests as me (or even opposite to me) if you wanna be friends, or you just want to chat, pm me.

I have loved books for as long as I can remember. They were my friends in Years 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and now...8! I They widen the imagination and connect people with emotions and images they cannot relate to in real life.

Some people think that books are only for nerds, I think not! Books are simply the thoughts of people put into writing and bound sent around the world to teach/persuade/entertain people. People who read books are in fact the people who care what other people think and feel.

A lot of authors write their feelings, thoughts and personal emotion into their works and this should be valued. They should be celebrated. Now, to the authors who have now become millionaire (maybe BILLIONAIRES!) congratulations! You are successful. This does not mean that the people who have not sold a zillion copies are not successful. Ok, they may not have succeeded in making everybody worship them, but they have had the courage to put their thoughts into writing. Be PROUD!!! But NOT arrogant... :)

Enjoy your lives. Because one day, your life will end, but you will have lived a happy and full life in your love of reading.
