Extended Profile
Reading is one of life's greatest pleasures. Buying, and the selection process itself, is also a separate and equally enjoyable experience. So is reading about them in book crits, etc.
Despite my intention of living to 95, I won't be able to read all the books I already own. Perhaps I should start leaving them for others to find adventitiously (as I found one recently and discussing it with a friend, he alerted me to bookcrossing and I was wrapt).
My favourite author, among many, is Thomas Pynchon, in particular Gravity's Rainbow. I'm positive he wrote it specifically for me!
