Extended Profile
Hm. I'm a technical writer and computer book author who owns too many books right now. I periodically go through my stacks and pull books that are ready to be given away-- usually ones I have read and no longer have interest in keeping or re-reading.
In college, I finished reading Ursula LeGuin's book The Dispossessed and immediately gave it away-- which meant I had to buy a new copy later on when I studied it in school and when I wanted to teach it to college students. I have the dubious distinction in my office of being the tech writer with the most books on her shelves, even though I don't use them all at the same time. I do, occassionally, use most of them.
