I live in a small town in Illinois. I have been married to a wonderful man since October 20, 2007. We have one son, Beau, who passed away 23 minutes after birth on July 3, 2009. We now have another son, Wyatt, who is due on December 30. We have five dogs and three cats, who are like children to us. Geo is our oldest. She is a lab/boxer who I rescued when I was 16. Her owner had her and her brothers and sisters tied up around the farm and the farmer was shooting at them when they barked at the cows. In January of 2007, we got Charlie, a miniature dachsund. Three months later, Rockie, an orange and white tomcat, came into our lives. I picked Sophie, another miniature dachsund, as a wedding present for Mark. In March of 2008, my sister in law found a cute little coonhound puppy on the side of the road and we took Layla in. Shortly after we rescued Boomer and Bobber, both orange and white tomcats, from a local shelter. In April of 2010, we received Roxi from one of my colleagues. She is an adorable pomeranian. We have quite a full house, but couldn't imagine it any other way. I am also a petstylist so I am around dogs all day. I absolutely love it.
