Hello, my name is Irene Estep and I write Contemporary Romantic Suspense and Regency Romance novels. However, I read books from almost any genre. I love character driven stories with an intriquing plot. Books are the great escape, the perfect vacation without going anywhere, and yet you can travel anywhere you chose. Wouldn't the world be a better place--perhaps more relaxed, less agressive, more understanding, less judgemental--if everyone in it took this great escape every now and then?

My words of wisdom: The illiterate have an excuse for their ignorance, but those who are literate and don't read are simply ignorant by their own choosing.
