Born on a NH dairy farm, now living in Bainbridge, Ga, with wife Peggy. Graduated with honors from the Univ. of New Hampshire and hold doctoral degree from Cornell Univ. Served in WW II as a 4 engine pilot hauling gasoline over the Hump to China. Retired as principal research scientist and administrator of the Northeastern Region of the Agricultural Research Service, USDA. Sold real estate in MD for 14 years. Have written 3 books, two of which are published and the third will be in print in August 2004.
