Read years ago and have admitted to myself I'm unlikely to re-read it, so donating to the 1001 Library.

Reserved for booklady331's Already Book Crossed Bookbox (ABC VBB) Round 19

From Amazon...

In Evelyn Waugh's classic novel, the glittering world of the British aristocracy is seen through the eyes of Charles Ryder, enthralled with his decadent Oxford schoolmate Sebastian Flyte. At Brideshead, Sebastian's grand country estate, Charles is drawn into the doomed life of privilege of the Marchmains and their four eccentric children. A fascinating portrait of British high society after World War I, Brideshead Revisited is an elegy for the lost grandeur of the British aristocracy and a meditation on love, guilt, and nostalgia.
