"To the Last City" follows an ardeous trek undertaken by five European travellers in search of a lost city deep in the jungle of South America. Although this book isn't in the same league as Colin Thubron's travel writing on Russia and China - eg. "In Siberia" and "Behind the Wall" it's still compelling reading, particularly if you're intrigued by South America and Inca culture.

I thought I'd have a quick look if anything had been released around my work. I'd just finished my last catch.
I had a meeting on alfred place so this was a brilliant piece of luck. What is also strange is that I am going on a peruvian hike next march.
(Hope this doesn't put me off.
Anyway, I'll come back and review when I've finished!
