Picked up at Costa Coffee, Summertown today when I left some books on the exchange shelf there. Looks interesting.
A brutal but beautiful story. I slowed down near the end which is always a good sign of not wanting a book to end.

I went through mixed feelings with this book. I was absolutely captivated with the first half but then found myself a bit restless around the middle, only to find it regain my interest towards the end!
Brutal and a little disturbing at times I actually got quite inpatient with Fusang (one of the central characters) in parts, which is always a sign of good characterisation to me.
Well worth a read.
