Brilliant! This is a book I plan on reading again. I love how colorful and imagnitive Tom Robbins' book are, and they make you think!

Who couldn't love a book with such indulgent sentences like these-
"Every once in a while, she felt as if she were sitting on an exclamation point."
"Now we're cooking, now we're dressing this alligator in gold lame'."
"There had to be one moment, a single isolated moment, pear shaped, quivering, and outlined in radium, when Beethoven inked the final note of his Fitth Symphony, when Shakespeare chose the word ("shoot") that completed Hamlet, when Leonardo applied the brush stroke that shoved Mona Lisa onto the Louvre express."
I just might have to read this one again before I release it into the wild....
