My first novel by this author. I decided to read her work after seeing her interviewed by Peter Thompson on 'Talking Heads'.
I really enjoyed it despite the author describing her work as fantasy, to me it was a historical romance. Not usually my genre but a fast paced read.
I would recommend this to be read on holiday - perfect for just such an occasion.
