THIS BOOK IS SPONSORED BY 1 UTAMA SHOPPING CENTRE AND MPH BOOKSTORES TO BE RELEASED AT BOOKCROSS@1U, 1 UTAMA.
1 Utama Shopping Centre located in Malaysia has set up the first Official BookCrossing Zone in Asia called BookCross@1U. The objective is to promote the reading and sharing habit amongst our shoppers. The OBCZ was open to the public from 17th April 2009 to date.
Furnished with cosy living room furniture with bookcase, lamps and sofas, BookCross@1U is designed as a convenient BookCrossing venue for booklovers whilst doubling as a special reading lounge for shoppers.
Every month, 50 books sponsored by MPH Bookstores will be released and placed at the lounge, the books consisting of a mix of bestsellers, children titles, and non-fiction such as motivational and educational books. In addition, regular book club meetings, author readings and BookCrossing sessions will be organised at BookCross@1U by MPH.
With the initial group of books released by MPH, more books will be contributed by 1
Utama to provide an ongoing platform for people to read.
