Happy to report the book arrived safe and sound today. Will get started on it right of way!
Totally enjoyed it and loved the way the fictitious character of Hannah The Fool was used with the history of the Tudors in making this story so real to life. I also liked the differences shown between Mary and Elizabeth relating to the making of the Queen of England. Thanks lauraloo29 for sharing and it is now all wrapped and ready to go to Dancesports in Australia.

Just received in the mail this week. Thank you. It is nice to receive surprises. I had forgotten about this one. :) I have it next in line as I am in the middle of one. Thank you for the bookmark and postcard. :)
Well I finished this one pretty fast. It was pretty good and I must say I will never look at St. Paul's Cathedral the same way again and will certainly have to go visit the Tower again now that I understand some of the history.
It was well done and though it dragged and was a bit endless in parts which I then skipped to the next page and restarted reading it was pretty good.
It is going to make its way off to Bookworm-lady in Spain tomorrow. Likely by surface mail. Will provide an update tomorrow after I find out the price.

Bookworm-lady has had this since September 2010. I`ve sent a request asking her to forward onto the next person. I have had no response. I fear this ring has been stalled. Hopefully, some day it will travel again.

Seems like a very interesting book. Can´t wait to get started :-)
Although this is fiction, it made me see two important English queens in a different manner. I always thought of Bloody Mary as a ruthless fanatic, but here she is portrayed as a passionate woman, who simply had too much bad luck in her life. As for Elizabeth, I just couldn´t warm up to her. I know that to be a respected queen in a man dominated world you had to be tough and a bit wicked… But it is hard to like a person who has no scruples when it comes to achieving his/her goals.
