the person who changed the most from the beginning of the book was clay. this is because he wasn't as matchure at the beginning and then addison died. Addison was talking to clay about his brother darrel and how he didn't want him to go out and sell drugs like he did. when Addison died clay kept hearing addison talking about that in his head. then clay knew he had to help darrel. the day of addison's funeral addison's mom told clay to go find darrel and he was outside smoking darrel's dad saw them and brought them back inside. close to the end of the book clay was think alot about what adddison had been telling him before he died. he went to darrel's dad and asked him for help. then at the end darrel went to daytop with clay like addison.
