I took this book at the international convention in Amsterdam.

November 27, 2011:
Somehow I expected more of this book. It's quite hard to explain, but the humor of the story didn't match mine...
Israel is described as a poor fellow, who can't take care of his own life and is pushed around by others. Unfortunately, I did not sypathise with him - instead I found myself most of the reading time deeply wishing to be able to shout at him and stand up for himself.
On the other hand, the riddle's answer was fancy enough to pass. :-)
All in all, a nice read, but I am not in a need to read more from Ian Sansom

The book will join me tomorrow at the meet-up in Mettmann.

Released 8 yrs ago (1/10/2016 UTC) at Bücherzelle am Eugen-Krautscheid-Haus in Dortmund, Nordrhein-Westfalen Germany
