I loved this book - I have not traveled to Vietnam, but I have been to Thailand and I am grew up not far from Abbotsford and I live in Vanvouver. Anyway, I found the Canadian-Vietnamese interactions to be very real and very interesting.
I bought the book used at Tanglewood books - there is a fellow there, in his 20's that recommends great books.
