I am a Buffy fan, so when I saw this book going cheap at The Warehouse, it had to be mine! I read Resurrecting Ravana first and I have now read about a third of this one. So far there isn't too much supernatural action and my first reaction is that there are too many high school shootouts in America in real life for the plot so far to engage me. The book is also suffering a little since it shares at least a little of its premise with Resurrecting Ravana: that some supernatural influence is making people testy with eachother.
Still, I expect it to blossom into something interesting as events unfold further...

I am now about two thirds of the way through this book and things are picking up. I have a few quotes from the book to share as being in the spirit of Buffy:
Buffy: "I'm the McDonald's of slaying. Over three billion slain. Something like that."
Xander (thought): "But evil doesn't care about street signs. Or traffic safety. It never yields the right of way."
