After reading "The Pillars of the Earth" I couldn't wait to start reading the sequel, even though I didn't love the Pillars, but it was an entertaining book. This one was another 1238 pages of the same. The plot and subplots were similar, even the characters were the same with different names. But it was light reading. After three months I've already forgotten most of it, though.
