Bella Browning is attractive, successful and ambitious. She works hard, plays hard and adores her journalist husband Don (even though she doesn’t always behave as well as she should). But deep down she knows there’s something missing .. a baby. Don is terrified by the prospect but after all, Bella’s a top Management Consulant turning around multi-million pound corporations ... she can handle this ! Can’t she?
In between bouts of morning sickness, raging hormones and a few indiscretions with gorgeous Chris from the office, she quickly discovers how very hard it is to be the perfect, working modern mother with the sex appeal of a Grecian goddess. But Bella is a woman of many talents and she’s not about to be beaten....

Received today - will read and pass along! Thanks and happy reading!!
Finished it today! Cute book and I am sure all the others on the ring will enjoy it as well. This is off to ellymae58 next! Thanks and happy reading.
Yay! I've finally managed to squeeze in some reading time and finish this book! I started out liking this book, but towards the last third of it, I no longer enjoyed it. Thought it was a bit drawn out, and should have been over a lot sooner than it was.
Plus, some of the author's descriptions about sex...ack! "Spermy wetness"? Oh gross!

This really wasn't my cup of tea. I didn't warm at all to Bella, the main character and thought that she was a bit of a slapper!

on its way to sharalsbooks.
Book arrived in yesterday's mail. I will post again once I begin reading it as I am reading another bookring book at the moment.
I've begun reading this book today and have contacted the next person for an address.
This book just didn't grab me. I had a hard time connecting with Bella and at the first sign of adultery, it went downhill from there.
I haven't heard back from veracity so I will PM hshah today for an address.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Hello! Received this today and am going to crack it over the weekend.
Wierd!
I just couldn't get interested in the book nor connect with Bella. Adultery, when she claims to be so very in love with her husband - well ....
However I did manage to complete it!
Have sent a PM to nureia, but no reply. Shall wait for a few more days.

today, Happy Reading!.
Thanks, book from India arrived yesterday with another ringbook. I'll try to read it during my holidays.
EDIT June, 15.
Sorry it took so long to begin reading this. All the other ring books, you know...
I didn't like much of the book or Bella. But the last third of the book, when Bella learns to join family and work, was ok. The ending was something to be expected too... :)
Bella was so desperate to have a baby, but how come she didn't care of herself during she was pregnant? She drank a lot, smoked and worked till the end, not to speak of her messing with Chris. I can understand that this is a little bit parody, but still. By the way, don't you have maternity leave BEFORE labour in UK??? And what about her husband insisting her to start working again (and stop breastfeeding) after six weeks the baby was born. Huh, what an attitude! Is that common? I thought first that there must be a mistake, because six months would sound more reasonable to get back to work. Of cource if you don't get any maternity benefit you have to get back to work, but isn't six week too soon? Apparently there are big differences between European countries.
Well, the book discussed about depression after labour and pointed out that it's very difficult to ask help. Fortunately Bella fixed all and maybe grew up a little?

I'll send the book to bija007 today.
Yesterday I have found the book in my postbox. Thank you very much chrisim for sending it!! Due the fact that I had time to finish my last book yesterday (my trip Offenbach-home took me 2,5 hours) I did already start to read this one.
Edit 21.7.2006
Actually I liked the book. First I was a bit afraid reading something in English, but it worked surprizingly well. So it will be returned to the sender as soon as I'll get an answer.
