That was great - way better than the second and third book. And Granny is really hilarious: "GO GRANNY"
This is one kind of a strange familiy :)
One thing took me a little bit aback. The name of the comany. It's not "Manhattan Magic & Illusions" as in the German version. It's actually the "Magic, Spells and Illusions, Inc." Now why on earth would I translate the English name of the company with another English name? Though I have to admit it's a rather elegant solution. Still, I really don't see the general idea behind this.....

I´ve already read this book, but my friend wants to read it, too. She also likes Vampires & Witchcraft Stories and our husbands are always shaking their heads, when we found another book about one of these two. *smile*
I really liked Katie´s family, especially Granny and their adventures back in Texas. But I´m not entirely satisfied with the story. Who is the big bad one behind Phelan? What´s Owen´s destiny? Who are his real parents?
And another thing made me a little sad: I really don´t like books with to much sex-szenes in it. But a little erotic is quite nice sometimes. Owen and Katie are no High-School kids and I would´ve loved to read something more intimate than only kissing. I feel a bit like I´m reading the Twilight-Series again at this point.
Sorry to complain, I really enjoyed the Series and I hope, there will be at least one book more.
