This looked interesting so I took it out of Cyberkedi's perpetual Sci-fi/Fantasy bookbox.
This collection of 12 short stories are set in South America. The story I enjoyed the most was "The Sky People" by Poul Anderson.
After a devastating war, they set out from the safety of their islands to explore the Americas, only to discover that sometimes you have more in common with your enimies than with your friends.
