This is a brilliant series, made up of Truckers, Diggers & Wings, although you don't need all three to get started. Very enjoyable & a great story for kids.

Arrived safely today. Adding to Mt TBR.
I enjoy Terry Pratchett's books for their lighthearted view of his world.
A fun read.
Off to the winner of the Int. Smile Day RABCK.

Thank you very much. I really enjoy reading Pratchett's books, they always make me smile even when life isn't that fun.
What can I say? Pratchett is a wonderful storyteller who has a way of turning everything upside down. I like the way that he play with the language and through the Gnomes show how silly human language is - especially the "Road Works Ahead"-sign made me laugh.
And then a little quote from 'The Thing' which I'm sure every BC'er will argue is absolutely true:
'It is vital that you obtain books'.
However, I'm not so sure that we'll agree with the reply:
'...Unless you know how to read books properly they inflame the brain...' (p.76)
- or perhaps all of us know how to read books properly?!
This book will go in to my permanent collection until I can obtain my 'own' copy of the book.
