It seems I'm one of the few people who are not particularly enthusiastic about this book. The writing style is excellent, no doubt about that, but I had trouble getting into the book. I needed a good amount of discipline to finish it...

Vielen Dank an fine-art für den Blick auf meine wishlist und die nette Zusendung! Ich habe mich sehr gefreut!!!
This book will climb my personal Mount TBR and will then continue its journey. I'm very much looking forward to reading "Saturday" since I quite enjoyed "Atonement" by the same author.

I finally, finally managed to read this book! It seems absolutely incredible that I had it for nearly 10 years! Blush, blush. How time flies. I didn't believe my eyes when I looked at the date I received it.
Anyway, I liked it but was somehow expecting a very different story. Maybe I mixed it up with Amsterdam.
I think it's definitley worth reading and I copied a number of quotes for it, especially with regard to the war in Iraq.

I left the book in the hotel lobby. I hope someone finds it and will enjoy reading it!
