Small Gods (Discworld Novel)
1 journaler for this copy...
One of my very favourite Terry Pratchett's - so much so that this is the second copy that I'm releasing, because I think that everybody should read it at least once - and one of my favourite books of all time (although the list is quite large!).
This is one of those books that is cited by both sides as supporting their view - the atheists say that it debunks religion, whilst the religious point to the allegories and metaphors and say 'now say that God doesn't exist!'.
Whatever your view of the world, you can't help but be enriched by this book. It's a tad slow in places and this is probably one of the most thoughtful of the Discworld books. All of the series have some philosophy and/or theology in them some where but Small Gods has a higher density than most, possibly the highest. It's all accessible though and comes with all the humour of TP.
