It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post. The Pleasure of Finding Things Out

Edited after his death, this book brings together transcripts of lectures and interviews given by Feynman with a number of essays on subjects including religion and the teaching of science.
Most interesting to me were his recollections of how his father encouraged him to think in a scientific manner -- and showed him the pleasure of finding things out.
Every five years or so, I seem to reach a point in my career where I wonder whether I'm following the right path. Had I read this book during the last period of doubt, when I was wondering whether I could interest teenagers in physics, I might have taken the plunge and retrained as a teacher.
As it is, though, the book goes some way to helping me deal with another question that's been bothering me: how do you deal with the incessant "But why?" questioning of a small child trying to understand how the world works? Who knows where that might lead.
Let me know what pleasures you find in this book.
