Very good book, and very good film too! I enjoyed especially the listing of things and the mania of making tapes for friends... reminds me of a friend of mine, and somehow of myself too :-)

I found this book on the 2nd day of my 8 day trip to New York. I loved it immediately, but forgot it at our hotel. After coming home to Seattle I contacted the hotel and asked them to mail it to me. I enjoyed reading it while I waited in the park to walk my son home from school. Several times I planned on leaving the book at Sea-Tac airport, but forgot to bring it with me. I finally left it on the bus that travels between Redmond and Seattle. Sorry I kept it out of circulation so long!
