Black Rabbit Summer is Kevin Brooks' latest dark, tense, gripping novel for teens. It's the first Kevin Brooks book I've read, and I absolutely loved it.
Set at a funfair, a group of five old friends meet up for old times' sake - but what happens next isn't all laughter and smiles... the group are transported to the worst night of their lives, as they're caught up in drugs and darkness.
Even though I'm 17, the maturity of Brooks' writing would make this appeal to older readers too. And don't worry, it doesn't have ridiculously big font - in fact, at almost 500 pages long, you feel so immersed in the characters' lives.

Black Rabbit Summer is brilliant! When I found the book I didn't expect that it would be as good as it was! I literally could not put it down and read it in just over a day. I think this book will captivate the minds of pepole of all ages.
I plan to leave the book for someone else to find so they can enjoy reading it as much as I did!
