Picked up to send to Myastone as a thankyou for the hippos. I love this series and have it all in my Permanent collection (up to the gold falcon )

What an awesome surprise! It's taking everything in my power not to drop everything and start reading. Must...finish...bookring book...first....

Great book. Really liked following the characters thru different lives, which I initially worried might be repetitive; but it wasn't. I think it was actually an interesting way to bring out multiple characteristics of the character.

Liked the Elcyion Lacar (thank you, Ms Kerr, for doing elves a little differently) and the Wildfolk. Especially liked Lovyan. It would be a cliche to say that she was a 'strong female character', especially since it's not about being strong. She is well written and believable, and I expect her to kick some ass in the sequel.

Thanks so much for the book and supplies. When should I expect the sequel? - jk ;)
