Purchased from Asda for a quid during the post Christmas sales. What a bargain :)

Fat cat was very fat and also the only successful mouse trap on the farm. Three neighbouring farmers are a little bit competitive with their fields until the mice move in. The farm which Fat Cat lives on is the only mouse free zone in town but it all works out in the end when she becomes a little bit less fat by giving birth to a a litter of kittens and everyone can have a wonderful mouse catching cat of their very own.

I rather wish I had something more highbrow or of an Australian bent to release before listening to Peter Carey talk about his new book and his writing in general but I am releasing this childrens book in honour of a remembered Bookcrosser. Paul would have been 18 on February the 3rd and this book is released in his honour, to celebrate a young book lover and pay tribute to his memory.
