I have the strangest feeling that I've attempted to read this book before or that I have read it and not enjoyed it. I have an odd relationship with Peter Carey's writing usually it doesn't engage me for some reason. I shall happily attempt to read this book again (if in fact I really have read it before) and bonus, it's an Australian author.
