One of my all-time favorite authors. This is the first book in her Miles Vorkosigan series. It is actually about Miles' mother Cordelia Naismith and her career before meeting his father and settling down. Cordelia is a compelling character and the writing is excellent. Normally I would not release one of my copies of Bujold, but this is a duplicate. I hope whoever finds it enjoys it as much as I have.
