I am a big fan of Peters Amelia Peabody series. This book is not a part of that series, but still a fun afternoon read. If it was an Amelia Peabody book I would never be able to release it. This book, although fun, I do not feel it necessary to keep and reread.
The heroine,Jacqeline Kirby, is well worth her own series and I will read more about her in the future. Peters strength is her ability to write strong female characters. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a brief diversion.
