Bright Lights, Big City

A quick read. Good for the college graduate daytime professional/nighttime party animal set. Tells the story of a young writer's (mis)adventures on his way to gaining some maturity and perspective in temptation-filled New York City.
I read this in its entirety on a weeklong camping trip through the Smokey Mountains, which made the city descriptions even more vivid to me. and Tad Allagash is a hoot!
The movie, starring Michael J. Fox, is okay but I suggest you stick with the book in this case!
