I bought this book after it was highly recommended by some internet buddies. But it really wasn't the light fantasy romance that I had hoped it would be. I found most of the human characters to be rather distasteful. And I didn't like seeing the Fae being portrayed as these delicate, inferior creatures so easily enslaved by man.

The writing style had a nice flow to it and the plot had potential ...but the characterizations were a real turn off.
