I really enjoyed this book, but not so much as Mr. Seth's , A Suitable Boy. I really thought the book was very informative and enlightening as far as being a musical insight, but the characters to me were too dark and obsessed with music and each other and other various issues. I really felt like shaking them into reality , especially Micheal. I stll enjoyed Mr. Seth's beautiful use of language and the other story line concerning his violin and benefactor.
