After you read his autobiography you realise that Branson is a pretty amazing guy, and that he has led a very interesting life

Caught at the Derby Meetup. Saw this in a release alert and hoped to catch it.
Finally got to read this book. Found the altruistic nature of Richard Branson refreshing, and his energy. What I could achieve if I had half of it. He is daring and nspiring but sails a little close to the edge for my liking. He went on about BA for the longest time. I suppose it had such a bad effect on him when he had to do battle. As someone who avoids confrontation by his own admission, he had to be pushed really hard to go to court.
I found him inspiring and look forward to more of his autobigraphy should he ever write more.

I was mostly interested in reading about Richard Branson's early life and the musicians he was involved with in the 60s,70s and 80s, rather than his aircraft/ballooning/railway/business pursuits later on.
Enjoyed the parts that I read very much.
This book is reserved for Daddyhuggy/Dave and will be handed over to him as a 'controlled release' in Oxford on Saturday 20 May 2006.
