An excellent read, can't wait to read the rest of the series. Pullman's slow reveal of the nature of the daemons is only one scintillating facet of the tale. OK, so it's a standardish quest, but no less a page-turner for all that.

Still have to read this book, I picked it up from Microsquid
i haven't read this book but my nephew has and he loved it, i have passed it on to my niece and once she is finished I hope to read it, I have set it to travelling as its in Dublin
