Hooray! Thanks c-a-m, this is just the sort of "trashy" vampire stuff I love!

Sorely disappointing - was expecting a big gory vampire thrill, and got nothing of the sort! There wasn't much in this one that was original, or even particularly suspensful - Laymon's much more into titillating than seting up suspense. I did, however, keep reading to see how it would end, so I guess that's something. All in all, though, not my cup of tea - if I wanted something in this genre I'd head for Koontz (who's a better writer by far) than Laymon again. Although maybe I'm just sore that the vampire quota didn't cut it!
