I am not a big fan of Erlend Loe - he's a love or a dislike, and to me he's not a love. I bought this to send it to my friend in Lithuania for her to read&release, so I wanted a Norwegian book for her and this was the only one beyond Hamsun and Undset.

I was so surprised to receive a book!!! Thanks magnio! :)I will read the book as soon as possible (TBR is piling up...). I have definitely heard about the book, because I saw it translated in Lithuanian. I am looking forward to reading it!

I finished reading the book in one week. It was an easy reading, and it impressed me, but I can't tell it goes to my favourite books' list. I found lots of funny things in the book but felt sorry for the main character being really too naive.

I have sent this book to chich as a RABCK - it turned out we share the same birthday! :) Not a Birthday RABCK Experiment though, I was just browsing for bookcrossers born the same day. Unfortunately, couldn't mail it earlier, for her to receive it on that very special day...

Woo Hoo! What a lovely & unexpected RABCK!I found this book in my mail box just now when returning from a business trip. From what I read on the book cover, this is exactly the type of book I usually like, so I can't wait to read it! Besides, I've never read anything by a Norwegian author before, so that's one more incentive to hurry up, finish the book I'm reading right now and get right on to this one:)

What a fun, quick read! It was exactly what I needed this week:) I really enjoyed reading this book: although it's entertaining and light, the author manages to show some real depth while using a simple style and very short sentences. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to discover Erlend Loe and to read a Norwegian author for the very first time voveryte!!!
