This is the first #1 bestseller that I've read in quite a while.

I read about 200 pages of this one and am finally throwing in the towel. This book really pales in comparison to "Prep", which I just recently read. The characters and situations of "Special Topics..." are unbelievable and cutesy. After 200 pages I realized that I didn't care what happened next.
Hopefully the next reader will get more out of this novel than I did.
