The first in Sue Grafton's Alphabet series, this book introduces Kinsey Millhone, private investigator. In this first book, she is hired by Nikki Fife who has just served eight years in jail for the murder of her husband, a crime she insists she didn't commit and she wants Kinsey to find the real murderer.
I'd read a few of the later letters and wanted to go back to the start and read the others from the beginning, and this first in the series didn't disappoint. Now I just to find D onwards (except N and O!)
