A very enjoyable mystery about several murders in Boston during 1865 that bear a striking resemblance to Dante's Inferno. The main characters, famous poets from the day, help solve the murders to protect their beloved Dante. This book was fun for me as an English teacher, however you don't have to be familiar with Longfellow, Lowell and Holmes to enjoy the book.
