Easy summertime read and one of those books that make an excellent film, as it did filmed in Cornwall, Port Isaac

Bookcrossing is a funny thing. Mostly it introduces me to stuff that I would normally ignore. Today three books that I have always wanted to read arrived in the Saltash box, lovely.
This novel is written from a screenplay. The reverse of what typically happens. Because of this the story lacks the depth of a normal piece of written fiction. I have seen the film, I probably enjoyed it more than the book but it was great to revisit tale in a different format. It has great qualities of British farce.
