I;ve got mixed feelings about this book, but I think I was unduly influenced by seeing the movie first - I got attached to one version of the story and so I was biased against the quite different version in the book. V sounds more like an embittered 17 year old anarchist boy, and Evey never really makes the transition from weak ingenue to captain of her own destiny in the book....

caught by a friend of mine in the Haley House Bakery Cafe... A Haley House staffer initially told him, "hey, you can't take the books out of here," but my friend explained the whole Bookcrossing concept to him and he was very excited about it. My friend passed it on to me as he already has a copy. I look forward to reading it and can't wait to release it back into the wild.
