Don't tell me you don't know Edward Gorey! If you've ever seen Mystery! on PBS? That's HIM, the late genius of oddity, eccentricity, and crosshatching, Edward G, formerly of Massachuttsets. (or however you spell that state). Read about the "Gashlycrumb Tinies" - E.G. wrote PROLIFICALLY, but most of the books were really small-press releases, only available through Gotham Book Mart, in NYC. Some of these have been released in popular editions, like this. Hope you like it! Also, be sure to check out E.G.'s buddy, the also very dead John Bellairs, Gorey did all the illustrations for Bellair's highly-great children's books. Johnny Dixon forever!!
