I loved this book, but unfortunately, I already knew some spoilers beforehand from people in the past few years spilling them without a warning. Ugh! I also know some people didn't enjoy this book as much because of Harry's mood; duh, he's a teenager, and I'm actually surprised it wasn't brought up in any of the other books.
The character development was superb, I was happy for Ron (that's all I'm going to say), and the plot was fairly well-paced, although sometimes a bit slow. The whole book had a melancholy feel to it and that's how I ended up feeling at the end. I still enjoyed it immensely and think it's a fine addition to the series (and bridge to the next book).
