Been on my shelf forever, never read it. One of these days... meanwhile, it's free to go visiting.
Wow and wow and wow again... so many times I've *almost* read this book - well, each book in its own time, I guess... fantastic, moving, spellbinding ... I cannot come up with enough superlatives for this story. Big points to the translator for his evocative (and no doubt painstaking) and inspired work.
This could be one of those life-changing books. It definitely could.
