I have two copies of this book, so one of them will shortly be set free.
Set in 1610 in France, this is the story of Juliette, a young woman who has made her home in a nunnery, along with her 5-year-old daughter. It tells the story of her caravan-travelling past and of LeMerle, her lover. LeMerle shows up at the nunnery, posing as a priest in order to betray several people in his life, as he really seems to be completely self-absorbed. Of course, the betrayal goes wrong and he has an epiphany and realizes....blah blah blah. I got a little annoyed at the ending. It's very available until I find a suitable release spot for it.

I caught the book off the ledge at the high school. Actually my nephew picked it up, and I could see the label. Im Free, I am not lost. Of course I grabbed it. Thank you, previous owner. It looks like a book I will enjoy.
I have just been given some time to read this book. I read another that I picked up from ajsmom earlier this year first. Now I will give this a try, then release it again. Maybe in honor of literacy week 2008.
