Fortunately I am getting old enough to realise that you don't have to finish a book if it is a waste of time - move onto the next one! I only managed six pages of this one. And do you trust an author when their picture inside has obviously been taken in the local photo booth?

Passed to Kissycat1000 while 'holidaying' at her house and whiling away the small hours with book talk. Oh we literati. ;)

I quite enjoyed this book, good fun and entertaining, I finished it in an evening even if it was in places a little predictable. I'd been intending to release it into the wild tomorrow at a pillowfight (don't ask!), but thought she might enjoy it, besides... she'd just been saying she ought to get round to bookcrossing. This way she's been exposed to the site while I journal it's passing too.

Book Fairy strikes again!

I was passed this book by Blaadyblah when she came to visit. I started to read it twice but I didn't get on with the writing style of the author, though the story looked like it had promise. This could be more my fault that the authors (due to feeling distinctly ill over this time period) so I'll give the book the benefit of the doubt. I never did get more than a few pages into it.

I have to admit early on to being rather thrown by the writing style and the perspective, I think I mentioned it to you when I gave you the book. I was enjoying reading again an awful lot though after that migraine and as the story progressed I found it quite charming. Odd though, certainly. Will you be letting it go?
